A gutter vacuum uses long poles and a powerful vacuum to suck loose debris out of the gutter from the ground. It is good at lifting out leaves and dry material.
Gutter washing
Gutter washing clears the debris and then washes the channel through with water. That removes the layer of silt, grit and slime that is left behind once the leaves are gone.

Why the leftover layer matters
That layer slows water down, holds moisture against joints and gives the next lot of debris something to stick to. Washing it out leaves a genuinely clean channel.
